Colo. academy to graduate green job trainees

DENVER - Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter will speak at the first graduation ceremony for a program designed to give veterans "green" job skills.

Fifteen trainees will formally finish an eight-week home energy auditor training program Tuesday through Colorado's new Veterans Green Jobs Academy.

The training includes environmental studies, energy efficiency and conservation and weatherization.

The veterans represent all branches of the military.
