Del. companies attend 'green jobs' summit

he heads of two Newark companies were among those attending a Green Jobs Summit with Senate Democrats Tuesday.

CMI Electric creates and installs solar panels and PTM Manufacturing makes ductwork and outdoor insulation systems to maximize energy efficiency.

They are among the owners and presidents of renewable and clean energy businesses from around the country who were nominated by Democratic Senate offices to attend the summit.

Labor union representatives, environmental leaders, renewable energy trade association representatives, and community college presidents also attended.

Vice President Joe Biden gave the keynote address.
